We endeavor to provide professional architectural services of
the highest standards. We at all times ensure that our clients are well
represented, have access to one of our founding partners, and have all the
available information presented to them before a decision is made. We provide
our clients with economically feasible, technologically and environmentally
sound facilities via the use of state of the art hardware and software programs
that enhance our services and projects that we work on. We provide detailed
documentation throughout our projects, from initial client contact through
design and construction document phase, contract preparation, construction
administration and project close out. We also require similar comprehensive
documentation from the General Contractor.
PARTICIPATION OF THE FOUNDING
PARTNERS
Our Firm and the direct involvement of one of the founding partners in
every project, this ensures that the total professional resources of our
organization will be available to you, starting with a partner. A project
manager will also be assigned to each and every project, his duties is to assist
the partner in the managing of the project and the consultants.
SINGLE SOURCE OF
RESPONSIBILITY
We believe the Owner should have a single source of
responsibility; Architecture Studio will be that source, coordinating the
efforts of the different consultants including mechanical (HVAC), electrical,
plumbing, communications, interior design, landscape architecture, home
automation as well as structural. Our projects are coordinated, concise and
integrated.
CLEAR LINES OF COMMUNICATIONS
Will be established between our Firm
and the Owner to ensure a complete understanding of contract requirements and
promote the efficient performance of all tasks within the established schedules.
We use e-mail, office phones, cell phones, texting, faxes, or any combination of
these communications techniques for the benefit of the project.
ENVIROMENTAL
DESIGN
Our contributions to the built environment are both aesthetically
pleasing while fulfilling the project program requirements. Architecture Studio
will provide functional designs which, respects the environment and improve the
quality of their surroundings. We do have experienced LEED (USGBC) design
professional as part of our firm.
COORDINATION OF ALL DISCIPLINES
It is the
responsibility of Architecture Studio to coordinate the efforts of everyone
involved with the project. Directing our staff, scheduling and organizing the
consultants and informing our clients are part and parcel of what we do well.
The Owner is an integral member of the project team, performing important duties
in the decision making process. The input and participation of the owner is
critical to the success of the project.
COST CONTROL
Continually during the
project development, the Project Manager, will maintain direct contact with the
Owner to ensure maximum communication and thereby eliminate any scope or budget
surprises at the time of bidding. In order to properly control costs, careful
monitoring of the various elements continues throughout the project and the
design team addresses these issues with the client and user. We will commence
cost control immediately upon the inception of the project.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Quality Assurance procedures provide the expertise and direction required to
execute a successful project, including control of information during the entire
life of a project and the development of complete and coordinated documentation.
Each of the Professional personnel who comprise the Quality Review Team has a
background in design and documentation, as well as specialized experience in
Quality Control coordination. The Quality Control Team carefully reviews design
and documentation at key milestones and offers an unbiased and unencumbered
review. Quality Control is administered by one of the partners who is not
involved in the project, providing a fresh perspective and an independent review
and critique. This approach separates the review and coordination process from
the day-to-day execution of work and therefore, enhances the production of
accurate, definitive construction documents.
POST OCCUPANCY EVALUATION
After you
have been using the building for approximately 10 months, Architecture Studio
will walk with the owner through the building to evaluate the performance and
identify any warranty items needing to be addressed by the contractor prior to
the expiration of the one year builder's warranty. At this time, after nearly a
year of building usage, we like to get the owner's feedback on our performance
in order to improve ourselves for the next project.
FINANCIAL STABILITY
We have
maintained a "preferred status" with our banking institution since our
inception. Our downtown historic corporate office building, the computers,
plotters, copy machines, etc. are all company owned and not leased or financed.
Credit references and financial statement are available upon request.
Sustainability is the intelligent use of the resources that are required to design and build the projects that we live, work and play in. It is the principle of leaving a small footprint upon the environment that sustains us, impacts our health, welfare, productivity and economy.
Sustainable goals for a project can be very diverse from informally adopting the basic principles to a certified project with a zero footprint and everything in between.
Our services can include some or all of the following:

• Complete fully certified and registered project via USGBC and the implementation of a Silver, Gold or Platinum Certified project.
• Management and registration of the project until certification.
• Site selection assistance and identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
• Water Efficiency implementation and the identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
• Energy and atmosphere implementation and the identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
• Materials and resources implementation and the identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
• Indoor Environmental Quality implementation and the identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
• Innovation in design implementation and the identification and implementation of credits required for the selected level.
These processes are intended to provide us with better living and working conditions and save us money in the long run. Simply put, it includes using less water, electricity and natural resources, the production of safer and local products, the use of mass transportation, energy efficiency and the protection of nature.
